‘I’m here. Let me in.’ the text read as I opened it. I went
over opening the window and waiting for him to come inside. I saw him climb in
and I shut it behind him. He turned around pulling me into a hug. “I came as
soon as I heard, are you okay?” he whispered. “Yeah… I am now,” I said into his
chest holding on to him. He didn’t ask more questions, just held me until I forgot
about what happened. I fell asleep soon after. I woke up in my bed with him
sitting at my desk. “Hey,” he said getting up and walking over to me. “Hey Ast,”
I said sitting up as he sat next to me. “Wanna talk about it?” he asked. “Not
really, will you distract me?” He smiled, “I’d love too.” I smiled back at him
as he leaned in kissing me making me forget all about last night.
I put my head on Ast’s chest later as he lay back on the bed,”
You know I love you right?” “Yeah, I love you too Ast.” “Better, you wanna talk
now?” “Okay…” I felt him run his fingers through my hair, “take your time babe.”
“ I was walking in the park and on the way to your house, I felt someone
watching me and so I started running as fast as
I could, I got to your front door and I knocked and knocked and no one
ever answered and he grabbed me….” I trailed off. I felt Ast sit up shaking his head, “Look at
me, I’m in love with you okay? I’m never ever going to let him hurt you again,
understand? I’m here to protect you. You mean too much to me to lose.” I held
onto him as he tightened his arms around me, “It’s alright babe, I’m here now, you’re safe.”
