Save Me

Chapter 1: Its Me:

I woke up in the middle of the night to someone standing over me,thier hand covering my mouth. "Its me Jess.Don't scream.We gotta go.Now." I heard the voice and realized it was Drew, my best friend.I sat up.I was kind of dazed until i heard banging around downstairs.I immediately got scared. He pulled me out of the bed and onto the floor. He put his finger up to his lips,"shhh." We crawled to the window he left opened.I climbed out first and  onto the fire escape, it was freezing.He climbed out behind me shutting the window as quietly as he could. We hurried together down the fire escape and down the alley.Once we got to the end Drew pulled me into a hug trying to keep me warm. "Are you alright?"he asked his arms around me. "What  were you doing in my house?Howd you know someone was there?" I asked against his chest. "I was sneaking up into your room to be with you so you werent alone.I got inside and I heard banging and stuff downstairs.I knew it wasnt your mom.She called me earlier and said to go check on you cause shed wouldnt be back for two days.So I couldnt leave you there." He took out his cell phone and dailed 911 talking to the operator.We sat on the steps across from my apartment so we could see my house but whoever was there couldnt see us.The cops showed up and brought 4 guys out of my house.I was freaking out.I couldn't believe someone was in my house.....

Chapter 2:Safe with you:

After we filled out the police reports and everything I got some stuff and was on my way to Drew’s apartment. He unlocked the door and I walked inside and to his bedroom. I started to cry and I felt Drew’s arms around me. “Hey, it’ll be alright. You’re safe now. I’ll protect you.” He smiled and kept holding me. Later we were sitting out in the living room. David and Jayk had left somewhere and wouldn’t be home until later. “Thank you for coming for me,” I said sitting next to Drew covered up in a blanket on the couch. “Its my job to protect you. You’re my best friend. I love you.” “I love you too Drew.” “Are you you sure its okay that I stay here?” I asked. Drew put his arms around me, “You can stay here as long as you want babe.I want you to be safe.” “I feel safe with you.” I said putting my head against his chest. “Good,” he said hugging me tighter. I guess I fell asleep cause I woke up in Drew’s bed under the blanket. I felt someone’s arms around me. I turned around and it was Drew. I smiled. He was always protecting me making sure I was okay, my best friend. If only he could feel the way I do, that I loved him but not just as a friend.
